The purpose of removing a vehicles Sway bar is to allow larger suspension travel. Why do you want this attribute? The longer suspension travel lets off road vehicles to go over dramatically uneven ground without loosing contact with the terrain. Now is this safe? On the road probably not because deleted sway bars greatly decrease the handling and stability leading to the vehicle to easily roll over. For off-roading yes its safe and great for rough terrain.
