JDM cars are mistaken for any car that’s sold by a Japanese manufacturer. Truth be told JDM is an Acronym For Japanese Domestic Market which signifies to be originally produced for a Japanese market. For a car to be truly JDM its needs to be sold in japan and intended to be used in japan. In japan you’ll drive on the left side of the road so all JDM cars will be right hand drive in other words the driver will sit on the right side of car. In the US cars that are 25 years or older can be imported so now in 2023 the first year r34 GTR’s can be legally imported which has been long awaited by enthusiast because the US never received the Older GTR’s. As years go on be excited to see some pretty unique JDM cars that are being imported.
