How much power can Subaru’s FA24DIT handle

The FA24 was first released in the 2019 Subaru Ascent. Recently Subaru introduced the FA24 into the new 2022 WRX grabbing attention of Japanese tuners. From factory the FA24 makes 271 horse power and 258 Ft-lbs of torque, this leaves many enthusiast disappointed from the motor only making 3hp more from the previous generation. this caused people to try and squeeze out as much power from the Fa24 without modifying the internals of the motor.

Tuners and engine builders from Prime motoring swapped an FA24DIT from a 2019 accent into a Subaru Crosstrek. After some bolt on modifications Prime motoring was able to produce 537 whp and 490 ft-lbs of torque running on 22 pounds of boost. This build has opened up a new chapter in the Subaru tuner community creating a race to build the fastest Fa24.
